My interests involves comics and anime's. The following 5 reviews reflects that. The end goal is to cross fit two of my favourite characters in a one part story of them two fighting and becoming an alliance.
As
of any episode of Dragon Ball Z there is always drama between Goku and
his wife Chi Chi who wants the best for her son Gohan and also security
from her husband, and so in this episode written by
Booziehand , he has successfully included it. The excitement of his episode makes me want to continue reading as
Booziehand has
explained details to a fine art that resembles the actual animation
itself, you can almost see a TV screen in your mental eye and watch this
story take place.
I will give this episode a 4/5, this could almost pass as an actual episode.
TrunksGirlKiryn, the creator of this episode describes
Vegeta's attitude through the eyes of Bulma, who is his wife. I must
say but I did laugh hearing his view of vegeta, quite a hard stern man
who doesnt want to give into any type of weaknesses, that includes his
wife. You can almost feel the character of Vegeta when Bulma starts
ponding on his arogance to accept anything. Quite funny. Though TrunksGirlKiryn kept
my excitement hanging in wondering what is wrong with Vegeta when he
was describing the story but not fully expanding on what was causing him
problems.
I will give his story a 2/5, due to lack of expectation.
Superman Dark Times Resolve -
Many people would and could imagine what Superman gets up to when he's
finished a semi easy day patrolling the world. In this story written by thesentence we get almost a childs view of what Superman would be doing in his spare time.
thesentence described
details of how superman could gain energy by eating mini suns, which is
quite a good idea, seen as he wouldnt have to fly up to the sun to
gather energy, why not eat little suns? This idea made me laugh but it
is an idea, and a good one. thesentence stuck to the theme for fighting bad guys and seeking justice. Though
I expected Superman to know more about a chinese underground fighter
and with all his power, find him with ease. Though in this story it took
him a bit of effort, including learning how to fight?
I will give this story a 2/5, it wasn't really how I expected Superman to be.
The End of Superman - Every Hero has an enemy. In this comic written by Arthur Kay we
see that Luther who an enemy of Superman is devising a plan to
psychologically turning mankind away from Superman by telling them
logical things that make sense, but in the same way are deceiving.
It
rather felt like a movie, or thought this was comic. The expectation
was semi and I felt a little bit of excitement wondering what was going
to happen to superman once Lex Luther was released from prison. This
story makes you want to continue reading. I like the idea's Arthur Kay included,
adding in emotions and expressions by the characters, making it as if
we're the people asking question in this episode.
I will give this comic a 3/5, the story was okay, but there wasn't as much anticipation for the next scenes to come.
Idiot Brother - This is a brilliant comic of Thor and his brother Loki written by LokiTheGoddessofmischief. Here LokiTheGoddessofmischief tells us a story of Thor's arrogance and obliviousness to someone who loves him.
Or
though Loki in this story is determined to prove himself worthy of
being a king, he also shows knowledge of his brother very well, for
example, the look in his eyes when he replied to Volstagg's funny
comment about Sif. Lokie knew what his brothers real intentions were,
and i can almost picture the eye's of Loki stuck on his brother with
envy and jealously. He
finds it impossible for a man such as Thor to become king at such an
immature state. But while thinking this he is interrupted by Thor in
Loki's quite time. LokiTheGoddessofmischief perfectly describes each character and there behaviours in a manner that is just like the original story.
I will give this comic a 4/5, I could almost compare this to the actual movie and see it taking place!
